Two A400M aircraft of the Turkish Armed Forces loaded with several tons of medical aid against the coronavirus, including 630 oxygen tubes, 5 oxygen generators and 50 respirators, departed yesterday for India from the Etimesgut air base in Ankara with destination to New Delhi, with the message “With love from Turkey to the people of India.” The aid will be delivered to the Red Cross in India, where more than 3,500 deaths have been registered in the last 24 hours. “India sent us help during the Balkan wars and during the War of Independence, and has always been with us in difficult times. Now, we help them,” said Ibrahim Altan, director of the Turkish Red Crescent (Kızılay).
