The snow that Istanbul had been waiting for so long to end the drought finally arrived last night. Snowflakes fell on emblematic places in the city such as İstiklal Avenue, leaving beautiful images, while snow covered Mount Aydos in white, on the outskirts of the Asian side of the metropolis. With nighttime temperatures hovering around 0 degrees, weather forecast is announcing snowfall in central Istanbul for the weekend.
