The snow that has fallen heavily since yesterday on Istanbul has covered the city in white and caused serious complications for traffic. Many drivers had to abandon their cars and walk to work due to snowfall, which in the highest areas of Istanbul reaches 20 cm in thickness. Drivers complain that snow plows are not working, while the weather forecast warns that snowfall will continue at least until Monday, worsening the situation this weekend.
