Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid and Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan met at the Turkish House in New York on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, in the first meeting between leaders of Israel and Turkey in 14 years after the two countries recently normalized their diplomatic relations following years of tensions.
