Serkan Alper, a Turkish citizen from Ordu province, has created an impressive model of Istanbul’s famous Blue Mosque with his own hands using 7,000 pieces of wood. The idea came to him after visiting the historic Ottoman mosque and feeling impressed by its architecture: “The only material I have used is wood, there is absolutely no plastic. Everything is copied in detail, even the tone of the paint of the Blue Mosque“, he assures.
