Gli, the cat who has lived in Hagia Sophia for 13 years and who has become an icon of this historical monument in Istanbul, has now a companion: Kılıç, a beautiful angora cat, that has been brought from Ankara. Kılıç was transferred from the capital’s Pursaklar district to Istanbul: “We thought that Gli was lonely, so we decided to send Kılıç. We are sure that both cats will have a good time together,” declared the mayor of Pursaklar.
