A small number of Muslim worshippers gathered Sunday to pray at the Ahmet Hamdi Akseki mosque in Ankara, in the first collective prayer since mosque worship was suspended in March because of the coronavirus. This Sunday’s prayer in Ankara, which took place during the 4-day national curfew declared by the end of Ramadan to prevent the spread of contagions, has been an exception since the congregational prayers in the mosques of Turkey will resume with limitations on June 12.
