42 days after she lost her beloved cat after the earthquake that devastated İzmir, leaving 117 dead and more than 1,000 injured, Yasemin Saymaz managed to reunite with her cat Aşık after firefighters rescued him after an hour from a gap between two homes where he had been trapped. Although slimmer, the cat is doing incredibly well. “I do not know how it has survived, this is a miracle,” said Yasemin.
