Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan announced yesterday that curfews and most restrictions due to the coronavirus will end on 1st July, thanks to the good progress of the vaccination campaign and the decrease in infections. Starting next month, restrictions on traveling between cities and on urban transport and limitations on holding concerts will end, and public offices and institutions will return to their normal hours. Turkey has already administered about 43 million vaccines, leading the ranking of countries with the most vaccinated population, even above Germany and China, and has already begun vaccinating those over 25 years of age. “Our goal is that anyone over 18 can be eligible for the vaccine in a few weeks,” Erdoğan announced.
