Summani Yılmaz, a Turk who works in a tire repair shop in Kocaeli, Northwestern Turkey, has become popular for his unusual habit of commuting every day on the back of his horse “Rüzgar” (Wind), which lives in a garage converted into a barn next to his house. “I have loved horses since I was a child,” says Yılmaz to explain why he rides a horse to work. “Children run to take pictures as soon as they see Rüzgar galloping… that makes me proud,” he says.
