From Hispanatolia we want to vindicate the figure of Saint Nicholas of Myra, the Christian bishop who was born in the 3rd century in the ancient Patara, in the region of Lycia (nowadays Demre, in the province of Antalya, on the southern coast of Turkey), and whose pious character served as inspiration to shape the current legend of Santa Claus.
