Fero is a dog adopted from the street 11 years ago by Ömer Güven, a man from the province of Trabzon, in northern Turkey, who has become the protagonist of a beautiful story about inseparable love. On October 29, Güven died of natural causes at the age of 92, and since then the animal has insisted on visiting his grave and sitting next to it. “Fero was always waiting for my father when he came home; my father was also very fond of him, he never ate without feeding Fero first,” says a daughter of the deceased.
