Anadolu Efes was proclaimed on Sunday champion of the basketball Turkish Airlines EuroLeague for the first time in its history after beating FC Barcelona 86-81, in a close final played in the German city of Cologne. Barça was behind the Turkish team in the final minutes, and although the Spanish team managed to tie at 72 with 4 minutes to go, Vasilije Micic came to the rescue scoring 7 points and giving the victory to Efes.
