A 6-magnitude strong earthquake registered today in the Mediterranean Sea, about 180 km off the coast of Antalya province, in southern Turkey, was felt with particular intensity in the coastal district of Kaş, where it caused violent shaking and the falling of objects, although no personal or material damage has been reported so far.
