A 12-story building collapsed after an Israeli airstrike on Gaza. The bloc, which was completely destroyed, housed the offices of senior Hamas group leaders. The number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli bombings on the Strip now stands at 48, 14 of them children, and 305 wounded, while 26 Israelis have been wounded by rocket fire. The United Nations has warned that the tension between Israelis and Palestinians is heading towards a “full-scale war.”
